Dr. Calvin Scott Brown’s leadership began when he was a divinity student, journalist and advocate for increased educational opportunities.

In addition to his role as a founder and first principal of the very successful Waters Training School, Dr. Brown had a 39-year tenure as founding president of the Lott Carey Baptist Foreign Mission Convention.
