If you or someone you know have photographs, documents, letters or artifacts that are relevant to the Winton Triangle or surrounding communities, please contact us. We can come to you to photograph or scan your materials at your convenience. Also, we are interviewing people about their lives in the Roanoke-Chowan area and welcome opportunities to learn from individuals.

Family Collections: We are always searching for more information about our communities. George Thomas Archer, here with his wife Mary E. Mitchell Archer, was an Archertown leader in the early 20th century. Thanks to the cooperation of a family member, Florice Daniels Reid, we have a copy of this beautiful portrait as well as an audio interview with Mrs. Reid.
